Midlevels practicing independently in the VA

Most of you are aware that the VA is pushing to allow NPs and APNs to practice independently without physician involvement. I fear that this may set a precedent for those in the private sector. Below is the link where you can submit your comments opposing this legislation. They even have a template paragraph you can copy and past. Sign and spread the word!

Yeah as if there aren't already enough complications in the VA!
 
This is the new plan to cut healthcare costs, once it's established at the VA it will become widespread. By replacing doctors with midlevels, they'll save enough money to hire more administrators, who will come up with the next big plan to cut healthcare costs. It's the circle of life!
