Sorry, best of luck at your other schools. You are a non-resident if I recall?

That's correct. Thank you, best of luck to you as well.Sorry, best of luck at your other schools. You are a non-resident if I recall?
I got. Waitlisted for an interview as well!! Seems like all the waitlisted have a similar MCAT! My stats cGPA 3.6 sGPA3.6 MCAT 27
wow I'm suprised! In last years thread majority of the waitlisted were below 30! And they didn't interview below 30 until Spring. I guess they're increasing their standards! Hopefully they still give us a chance!Got the same waitlist email… 30 MCAT.
Similar stats and I got waitlisted for the II too. Oh well, I got an II from another school about an hour later! I'm stoked!I got. Waitlisted for an interview as well!! Seems like all the waitlisted have a similar MCAT! My stats cGPA 3.6 sGPA3.6 MCAT 27

Got put on hold for interview should've known, GPA was 3.8 but MCAT was 27. Good luck to everyone else!!!!
I have the same stats! Just got my II tonight - anybody going August 28 from DFW?
This is what I found... but it probably doesn't mean anything because of how old it is:Of the people who get interviews, anyone know how many actually make it through to acceptance for this school?
I applied to both as well. AZCOM gave me a II less than a week after completing my secondary. Their admissions office might just be much further ahead of the game than their colleagues in Chicago. CCOM does get more apps, so maybe that's the story. Also, It was my impression that these schools do not tend to favor residents from anywhere in particular, but rather have more matriculated locally because more local applicants are applying. Does anyone know if this is true?Just got my interview invite today. Scheduled for 9/21 (seems a little late but maybe because I'm OOS). I'm surprised I was offered an interview for AZCOM before CCOM since I'm instate for CCOM.
3.7/3.68/29 with a lot of clinical, research and shadowing experience

II this morning! First one for me so far!!! Complete 8/12, picked a late September date. MCAT 27-29 (I have multiple), GPA 3.6, pretty strong EC's/work experiences
Crazy huh?! I thought I'd be waiting a few weeks to have my app looked at. Hopefully not a mistake! You got an interview three days after your secondary was complete??
I've been complete for almost a month and haven't heard anything, you're very lucky
Yeah I was complete late June and I emailed them 2 weeks ago when I did not hear anything back and they said I had been wait listed for an interview.
Yeah
Idk, they gave me an II and my MCAT scores are all over the place, (with the last score actually going down and below a 29)...I think they just have a really hard cut off for the MCAT. Let me guess you have a 28 MCAT?
Like there are a good amount of applicants in here who have either been waitlisted or rejected that would probably be shoe ins for DO schools statwise, but AZCOM places a huge emphasis on MCAT.

Who knows what process these schools use to pick people?!
I can almost guaranteed you that people with 27-28 MCAT are not getting rejected or waitlisted at this school. It's more likely that their applications are being put on the backburner until Jan of 2016.
not sure if this has been answered, but does anyone know if this is an open file interview?
So glad to hear that! I can temporarily pretend my MCAT scores don't exist!!!Last time I talked to a friend of mine who is MS-II, they told me it was a closed file.
By closed file, does it mean that they don't know anything about you? or does it just mean they don't know your stats like GPA and MCAT?Last time I talked to a friend of mine who is MS-II, they told me it was a closed file.
I used the same exact essays for both schools and just changed names accordingly. Ironically, I wrote my secondaries tailored to CCOM but was accepted to AZCOM and waitlisted to CCOM XD.

Since AZCOM and CCOM are both Midwestern do you think they can view the secondary applications for each other? I wrote my
