Does anyone know how to solve this calculations problem?
A 68 kg patient is receiving dopamine drip 400 mg in 250 mL D5W at a rate of 15 mL per hour. What dose is this patient receiving in mcg/min? The answer choices are: 4.3, 5.9, 7.2, 8.1, 9.7
I don't know what I'm doing wrong because I don't get any of the answer choices when I do the calculation.....
Thanks!

0.4/68 = 0.00588.
The question asks for for dose instead of rate, so probably has to divide by weight.

I looked up dopamine dosing and it is dosed based on condition and also it is a range (e.g. heart failure 1-3 mcg/kg/min). I am not sure if you miss part of the question with important info. But from the given information I don't think you need the weight of the patient. The concentration and the rate of administration are given.
