I've shadowed a general surgeon/EM specialist at the ER and an orthopedic surgeon both for a year. Do I need to shadow a primary care physician?

General consensus is yes, you should shadow a PCP (FM, IM, Peds).

While being exposed to some super exciting specialities is fine, some schools would like to see that you have an understanding of an office-based primary care physician.

You clearly have enough shadowing hours, so you could just get by with a day or two of shadowing a PCP.
