Need advice on Applying and MCAT

Hey Guys,
I was wondering if someone could give me advice on if I should wait and retake (for 3rd time) or apply this cycle.

2012
VR - 06
PS - 11
BS - 11
Total - 28

2013
VR - 09
PS - 09
BS - 10
Total - 28

The total didn't change.. I was planning on applying this cycle, but now I am not sure. Or perhaps apply this cycle, and if I don't get in, take MCAT next year and apply next cycle. I think I can raise MCAT if work real hard since I won't be in school anymore. Is it frowned upon to take MCAT 3x? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would wait and do something significant in your year off... I took my MCAT 3 times and my first two times I was still busy with school and my scores were about the same, but then having the time to only focus on it really made a difference. And when I finally felt totally confident enough to apply I applied and my earler scores did not hold me back.

I don't think you will get into an MD school with a 28, considering your GPA is pretty low.
