Need advice on the essay

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of writing my essay (applying for the 2015 cycle). I'd be forever grateful for any of you that could give helpful tips on what to include? I've discussed my work experience with a physician and my time spent as a missionary in an eye clinic, but for some reason I'm having a hard time putting everything into words. I don't really like to talk about myself, lol. I'm trying to make it sound as interesting as possible (maybe I'm just boring?). I know admissions reads hundreds a day so I really want it to stand out.. Any tips???!!!
