need help about meningitis

dear all, i need a simple information from all of you. as Doctors and medical students of different countries are present here, i need a simple information regarding meningitis treatment in children in your country.
what is the initial antibiotic doctors prescribe in your country hospital before receiving the result for LP and culture? for example, in my country Bangladesh, we give Ceftriaxone for all suspected meningitis patient before the result of LP and culture arrives from the lab.

This question is probably difficult to answer in this section since treatment can be institution specific (i.e. if there is a high incidence of MRSA, vancomycin is added).
