Keep in mmind that some if not most of those will never happen. Some of them have appeared on the COCA list of applicant medicals for years, and not so much as a peep has been heard from or about them outside of that list.

lol yeah I wanted to know your thoughts about the increase of schools and stagnant or low increase in residency program expansion...the New Mexico school is pretty much a go for Fall 2016 unless something catastrophic happens and yeah most of the schools on the list are not likely except I can see Wisconsin, Utah, and Arkansas develop within new few years and open by Fall 2018 onwards

It's already been beaten, like its dating Chris Brown, earlier in the thread...

Better opportunities for getting into medical school...worse opportunities for getting a residency. Throw in a potential NRMP and AOA merger in the future...and the ratio of applicants to residency slots reduces dramatically for DOs.

It's still a better option than going Caribbean...but there is no question that state-side MD is the way to go if you have the opportunity.
