NMS Pediatrics

I'm about to start my pediatrics rotation and I was wondering if any of you have used this book? I did a search on it and found some old threads stating how its a beast... but at the same time I also hear people saying blueprints is too shallow and doesnt go nearly in depth for the peds shelf. Theres a new version of NMS coming out and was looking into purchasing. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am currently using an older edition of NMS + pre-test and if I have time I will try and get through some Case files. I take the shelf in about a week and a half.

Personally I like it a lot more than blueprints b/c I just felt blue prints just talked around stuff rather than describing the s/s or what the next step was. It has been a beast to get through at 600 pages though but I did have 2 months.
