Non-EU w/ EU degree for Residency in Italy

Hey everyone,

There were a number of outdated threads on residency in Italy so I thought I'd write in.

I'm a non-EU citizen with an EU medical degree and am in the first year of my pediatrics residency. I'd love to transfer to and continue specializing (in pediatrics) in Italy but am rather lost about how to do so. I'd appreciate it if someone could please guide me through the process.
