I am applying to MD and DO schools.
My stat's are not where I had planned for them to be this year because I take my postbacc courses part time, work part time, commute and a family member fell ill this past year.
Anyways, here are my stat's. I'm trying to figure out if an MCAT score will make up for my GPA.
I attended an ivy league for my bachelor's and master's in public health. GPA was respectively 3.86 and 3.6.
I took my postbacc courses at Harvard extension. I still have to take orgo (though I've started studying for it). My GPA is 3.35.
I have worked in public health research along side my taking courses. For the past year I have been a research coordinator of a clinical research study. I have a very minor publication that I helped work on with a local Free Clinic.
I know my stat's are less than competitive, but could a high MCAT score make up for things?
