NPI number taking forever.

It's been over a month and the application is still pending. I call and they say they're barely reviewing the applications from june 25. A friend who applied after me got hers the same day. What is happening!? I keep calling, but they are not helpful at all!

NPI can usually take upto 1-2 weeks. Did you perhaps apply for a group NPI as oppose to individual NPI by mistake? It's a common error, believe it or not.

You could be an idiot like me. I got an email from NPI thinking is was just a confirmation email. Wasn't until a week later I opened it and realized they issued it right away hahaha
