Has anyone heard anything?
NYIT-Feb 9th Interview Session

I feel a little better now, knowing that I am the only one that hasn't heard anything! I think we should get something by friday, or monday the latest. I remember in my group tour, the professor said usually they meet the day after the interviews and send things out day or two later. But due to snow and presidents day, they might not have met until today to discuss decision letters. That means they will tie up loose ends tomorrow and send the letters out tomorrow. So I think its safe to say, if you live in NY you will get a letter by monday/tuesday and CT by Wednesday/Thursday as in my case since regular mail takes 2-4 days instate and 3-5 out of state.

Oh I think you are right now that I think about it. So Id say even if you lived in NY, you wouldnt get the letter until this Friday because of the snow/pres day. Youll be fine. I wouldnt start worrying until Monday. That is when you officially can worry because it should by latest be there by monday. Idk where you live but if its not in my mail box in CT by monday im gonna die.

But I'm gonna be patient and just wait till friday..

haha I laughed when you said "render" i hate that word idk why lol. But yess more than enough time for them to render a decision. We have been patient enough come tomorrow ha.

Update: I did not get admitted, but apparently was "qualified" and it was just that 500 people were vyying for 25 spots so they simply could not admit everyone.
Well now if you dont get in you dont have to feel so bad!Awwww that sucks! But yeah I completly understand.. Its so competitive trying to get into PT school
If I'm not admitted anywhere this time, one thing that I won't be doing next time I apply
Is applying to schools with the 3 + 3 program,
Because its hard as it is and with them giving away spots to there
Students its damn near impossible to get in.
So oh well I'm not gonna stress out about it, I'm so tired of stressing
About school. I will let u know my update if I ever get the letter

well good luck to you! I hope you get in! And year screw the 3+3, its such utter bull****...500 spots for 25 are u kdding me. These schools have an obligation to populate the nation with PTs. Now how are they doing it by admitting 25 people? Thats absurd. Places like Sacred Heart, that accept around 65 people, are doing the right, moral thing,.
