I apologize if this was answered in another thread. I did look and didn't find anything related to it.

What I want to know is the differences between PT and OT medical billing codes. From what I have seen the mostly seem to be the same. Are there some codes that PTs are allowed to use that are not considered part of the OT scope of practice? Are there some codes that OTs are allowed to use that are not considered part of the PT scope of practice. I have a fairly good understanding of the differences of scope of practice but what I am looking for hear is specific medical billing differences.
