anyone got from Mayo Rochester? My friend called there and they said that they already sent ivs a long time ago
 
Did anyone get any rejection from NY programs as per list some programs (NYMC , SUNY , NYU) have sent invitations but I did not get any rejections. Should I still have some hope? Is it very difficult even to get interviews for fellowship? I was expecting it to be better than residency but then I can understnad there are fewer spots as well.. Hang in there. It is stressful, I wasnot able to apply for 5 years since graduation due to visa issues and now I am not sure if all this tress is worth even., .going to lower salary, being trainee again.

hey is anyone going to san fransisco the 25th-26th. I wold be interested in splitting a hotel room since the cheapest one i have found is $225!!! or if someone just wants to hang out and get dinner the night before I would be down with that too. traveling and hanging out by yourself gets old...

are we still getting interviews? did not hear from lots of program neither interview nor rejections.
 
Hello anyone, has anyone heard anything about the UMaryland/Baltimore program of the RWJMS? Good things/bad things. Clinical experiences there etc. Any help will be appreciated.:)

Program Name: Emory

Where did u stay, nearest hotel, travel etc: University inn (cheapish! and walkable)

interview itinerary: 7:30-4pm. *There's a dinner the night before w/ the fellows, really nice.

How many interviewers: 7 interviews 30min each.

How many applicants: four that day, was told they interview 20 for two spots next yr

Tour included visits to: Emory hospital, VA

Questions asked: future career goals, your past research

happy fellows?: They seem really happy.

research opportunities?: Yes, enough.

3 year research track? 3 years "strongly encouraged"

visa sponsored? not sure

City: Overall great vibe to Atlanta, good restaurants, affordable

Things I liked about the program: Program director seems really genuine, supports his fellows, receptive to feedback. Good research opportunities.

Things I disliked about the program: Grady hospital is the only complaint really (30-40 min drive away with traffic), but per fellows manageable

Rate experience (0-10): 8

Conclusion: good program for clinical or research oriented, great leadership, happy fellows

Don't worry. In 2 weeks, any user that posted a question about the app/ranking/match process and doesn't follow up with where they matched will get banned from SDN. It's standard operating procedure.
