I mentioned before being a female gives u much more interviews but no one liked that. Programs want to c diversity, as simple as this.
 
21 IV, 6 rejections. I still have not heard from more than half the places I applied to. I plan on going to maybe 10-15 interviews. I am an AMG, >250 on boards, top 10 med school and residency, good letters, but my research leaves something to be desired.

That's great. Good luck to you. The best thing you can do now is call and cancel the interviews you are not planning to go to ASAP so you can give other applicants a chance to get invites at those places.

I wish that was true lol.. I am a female chief resident, still no interview :mad: :confused:
 
I don't believe u. Chief resident and female! U should have at least 10 interviews, that's y I don't believe u at all

Rejection wsu: reason not a permanent resident
 
Is that from Newark Rutgers UMDNJ or New Brunswick UMDNJ

that's incorrect.

rowan is cooper medical school and is allopathic

umdnj stratford is osteopathic

rutgers is what was formerly umdnj rwjms (new brunswick) and umdnj njms (newark)

It looks to be the most competitive year so far. It is very rare for applicants to not score at least one interview!

I hope it gets better for you. Maybe in the next 2 weeks when applicants start to cancel some of their interviews you will start to get some.
 
Rutgers rejection today, icahn didnt even bother to send one
 
Rutgers rejection..more than 10 rejections without any interview.....
 
There's still time. 10 IV, 1 rejection and 1 wait list so far, have t heard from 10 programs. Now is the time interviews are getting cancelled opening up some spots.
