How do I know if I'm first batch? My AADSAS application says not mailed for all my schools, yet I received emails from a couple saying they received the applications? Can someone help clarify this for me? I have schools listed under "School Decisions."

I had my app completed on jun 17th and was first batch. Still haven't completed my secondary though for LECOM.

Received a supplemental application from the University of Maryland!
 
That was the time when my transcripts, DAT scores, and evaluations were in and my GPA was verified.

Yah only about 60% of the schools have contacted me.

Once you have your transcripts in, and you submitted everything, evaluations, have a completed application, and get your GPA verified, would they mail out your application to the schools even if you haven't taken your DAT yet?

Wow that's twice the amount other schools charge!!! Any regrets I had about not applying to Loma Linda have just been thrown out the window

I've been out of school a while and my state has no dental school, so I'm applying as broadly as possible. Most people probably don't need to worry about either of those issues, so I'm sure 11 will be more than enough, I just didn't want to take any chances.

Do pre requisites expire? I thought they expires after 6-7 years.

Most of the schools I spoke to said it should be fine since I took the DAT recently and did well. Tennessee mentioned they used to have an expiration period on the pre-reqs but lifted it as of this year. Baylor didn't seem to have any expiration on pre-reqs but the person I spoke to was pretty forthcoming about the gap in time since my courses being a negative.

I did get an email from UoP saying my application is ready and just waiting for executive committee to review which last year seems like people didn't get those emails until like August...

I didn't realize you were a reapplicant. That really surprised me! Also, how could ANY school turn your down after you have helped so many get into schools???

The last time I applied I didn't end up taking the DAT, so I basically got auto-rejected everywhere. Hoping this time turns out better!
