almost afraid to ask...but has anyone 'external' heard from UPenn yet?
You are right saw that. Wondering if anyone heard afterwards from Jefferson or it was just one cycle of Invites?I see Jefferson in the list
I will be interviewed at Emory for a research track position on 09/03-09/04. In the invitation email they mention that these positions are outside the NRMP match. Has anyone heard about when they usually offer these positions eg when do we have to make the decision about accepting the position? Does it happen fairly soon in the interview season or do they give us time to visit all the programs we are interested in?
I just interviewed there recently. They invite 6-7 people each day and they have 10 total daysHas anyone heard from Texas heart? And someone has an idea how Many candidate they interview?
I am IMG with no visa requirements, also updating the list with additional interviews. Are you an AMG or IMG? Thank you
Did anyone hear from PA programs yet. Jefferson, Temple, Drexel?
I wonder if the other 2 will be sending out any more interviews or should I count them of my list.Nothing from Drexel, yes to the other two
choirboy- for mount sinai's invite, was it to their general cardiology program or to their clinical track program?Mt. Sinai today (they apologized for lateness of interview invites), BID yesterday, Texas Heart rejection today.
Does it matter if you interview early (in september or early october) vs later? I am wondering if programs start to formulate their "list" in real time after each interview and there is a disadvantage interviewing later in their offered dates?

Tulane last weekHas anyone heard from any other state programs not already listed. I don't care about Mt Sinai or MGH, Cleveland clinic. How about medical college of Georgia, Tulane ochsner u of Miami South Carolina ???
I was always told to interview later. This way you will be more comfortable and confident because you have been through a few interviews. Also if you leave a good impression and they like you, it will be fresher in their minds when they are making their final decisions. But in reality I don't think it matters.Does it matter if you interview early (in september or early october) vs later? I got rejection from th jeferson but not from mount sinai, why? Because i didnt apply thereThomas Jefferson and mount Sinai rejections today
Is it really over? I saw last year people getting IV first week of September. Here is to hoping.I have 2. It's over look at applying to India or mejico
Okay...somewhat odd...did anyone else just receive a reminder schedule email from Hopkins? They hadn't confirmed my date previously, but still...a little annoyed for the 'reminder' email (via ERAS attachment again), especially when I think we should have already received confirmation emails at this point...just wondering maybe a system issue? Or did anyone else get this?
