Since orthogate has been down for a while now, and it has big problems in terms of stability, I thought we could start an interview thread here. Anyone with any offers or info on interviews, please post here. This is all anonymous, so if you have info please don't be afraid to share it.

ive had 10, all DO ortho places,

are there any other DO people out there interviewing, and where, have u heard back?

Although I can look up the top residency programs on us news,
could you give the top 10 residency sites by "middle tier" and the top 10 "LOW-tier" programs.

I wouldn't use them at all unless you are planning a high profile academic career in ortho. Since this is not the case with 90% of ortho residents I would investigate each program on an individual basis. What is their case load? Specialty focus? What is the rotation schedule? Do you have to leave town for some rotations? Elective rotations? Research rotations? Do the staff seem like they would be good mentors? Do the staff and residents get along? Is the atmosphere collegial or hierarchical? Do the residents get along with each other? Team players or back biters? Would your spouse be happy in the location (b/c you will not be around)? Etc...
