That's funny...might I remind you of the Rams/Seahawks head-to-head outcomes over the last few years? I suppose it's this kind of abstract, bass-ackwards thinking that led you to pursue perio in the first place. Denial is a powerful coping mechanism...

Bogarting--Taking a case away from another resident, either prior to beginning or during the case

Getting gooned -- when a lower-level resident or intern sidesteps his upper-level and goes straight to the chief or faculty member for something; also used when a younger guy knows the answer to a question the chief is getting pimped on.

"Dr. X was pimping me hard about ORN and this freakin' intern gooned me."
