The Pathology residency training program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School has an unexpected opening for a junior resident position. Applicants who require at least an additional 2-3 years of pathology training, including at least 9 months of anatomic pathology, are invited to apply. The candidate must provide a sub-competency evaluation letter from their former/current program director (s) which demonstrates that all rotations have been completed successfully and that the applicant was evaluated as being at or above the expected level for training in all competencies. If milestone evaluations have been submitted to the ACGME, a copy of those should be provided as well. Additional documentation required include a letter of recommendation from your former/current program director, two letters of recommendation from faculty members at your previous/current institution, in-training examination scores and a current CV. Applicants must meet the requirements of the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners for a medical license or permit. Applicants must also meet requirements of Rutgers University for employment and those of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for participation in a pathology residency training program.
