Hi, does it matter regarding the order of 3rd year rotations? I would like your opinions...

My 1st three rotations must be some combination of FP - IM - Surgery. I am interested in ophtho and anes, so I was thinking FP - Surg - IM, assuming that Surg & IM grades are fairly equally important, though I [obviously] may be wrong.

Any comments on this one?

Thanks, Frank

Do IM before surgery. Your surgery grade will be the most important grade for optho and anesthesia residency programs, and IM will help you do well on your surgical shelf, and help you understand a lot more of inpatient management in order to help you impress your attendings for letters.
