Hey all,

I'm currently in the process of applying to OT schools via OTCAS yay! I am in the process of writing my supplements for the USC application and need some advice regarding a supplement, "State of your present health and any significant past illness or disability."

I used to have tendinitis in my hips and knees, which I am almost 100% healed from. In addition, I currently have IBS. Do you all think I should put these on the application? Do you think they will view it as a setback?

Thank you!!

Hi,

Although I have no factual information in regards to how USC views this information, but in my opinion I think they just want to know if your are able-bodied to perform the duties required of an OT when they send you out for fieldwork (lifting, squatting, sitting of long period of time, etc).

Good luck with everything!
