I just got my secondary today. I'm from Northern California as well, and was interested in this school because of the emphasis on rural medicine, but I'm wondering if I should even bother applying? I have a 32 MCAT, 3.36 GPA from UC Berkeley with a double major, lots of research, and 4 years as a hospice volunteer.
I would be lying if I said this was my first choice, but I would love to go here. I know they have a preference for PNW-ers, but does anyone have any concrete info on how many people from CA get in? I've already spent so much money this application cycle, I don't want to throw any more away!
