I am trying to schedule my away rotations, I am quite interested in pediatric Urology.
Do you think that it will hurt me if one of my aways is in Pediatric Urology and not in standard urology? Would it screw up the letters I am trying to get?
Thank for the advice.

I don't think it will necessarily hurt -- except that rotations need to be at a place with a residency program and preferably involve close contact with a person who is both a big name in urology (for letters) and has some sway in getting you in to that residency program. If your rotation meets those criteria, you should be fine. I'll add that while your interest in peds urology is fine, now is not the time to subspecialize; focus on residency first. There will be plenty of time for fellowship exposure later.
