I came across this on the internet. I'm not familiar with the US health system, but do you think this will this have an impact on the role of the pharmacist?

I read a medscape article on this today as well, and think that it's great to have pharmacy in the conversation. Beyond that, I think it would ideally encompass collaborative clinical practice where pharmacy/PA/Np, etc would essentially be able to act autonomously within a specific scope in the hospital. Could have a large impact, or could provide little change, just depends on perceptions/implementation. But overall I think it could be a really good thing for us, and like that there are numerous things being discussed (like a "behind the counter" class, etc) that will expand our roles.
