Hello everyone,

I had applied for the PhD program in Craniofacial Biology 2014 Intake. Have been offered places in Michigan and USC so far--both seem to be strong, research-intensive universities. While Michigan is very highly ranked, USC also enjoys a great research faculty (plus a livable climate unlike michigan, freezingg). Any recommendations will be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Aaron,
I wonder which program you have chosen. I agree with you, both USC and Michigan have very strong craniofacial biology programs. I don't have any previous publications but I have some experience with some laboratory techniques, Do you think I have a good chance to get admission to any of these programs?

Hello,
I have just completed my internship. (BDS)
I am planning to apply for PhD in Oral biology.
What were your GRE scores?
Are they really high?

Having a masters/internship in research helps---the rest depends on how good a fit you are for the program. It includes research experience relevant to the lab/institute.
