So you can what? make general statements based of two or three STUDENTS of a profession? You would like to prevent the proper care from being delivered to a patient? Your statements are simply reinforcing many peoples angst toward egotistical healthcare providers. I hope you will grow to learn that patient needs come first. Most PT's do not have an insulting opinion of doctors, and those that do quickly realize that it is unwise to bite the hand that feeds you. Doctors are not the gods of healthcare as much as PT's are not the gods of MSK disorders. We are all healthcare providers working for the same goal, patient success. Do you think a patient cares if the MD knows more about injury than the PT? They only care if they can return to as normal of a life as possible. Everyone should get over themselves, PT, MD, DO, everyone. This pettiness from both sides is immature, unprofessional and disrespectful to everyone involved.
