Which of the following carry the most weight in deciding your intern year rank list?

  • Multiple electives, minimal work (name and location don't matter)

  • Name/prestige of a program are great (even though hours might be longer)

  • High salary to cost of living ratio and benefits like free meals, food stipend

Very curious about this. I know different people value different things and I'd like to see it represented in a poll.

This almost entirely depends on a multitude of factors, not the least of which is whether you're planning on matching an intern year without an advanced specialty (or are concerned this might happen).
