Okay, so I have received two of these now (from Rosalind Franklin and Medical College of Wisconsin). They seem to have a more positive tone (as if I have "cleared a hurdle" towards getting an interview or something) than the hold letter I received from George Washington...but are these really just glorified hold letters?
