I spoke with the pre med advisor at my school who told me I should take some upper division bio courses to broaden out my sGPA. He recommended cell structure and function, vertebrate physio, genetics, and biochem. Does anyone know which of these courses is the best MCAT preparation and would best serve the purpose of boosting my gpa? I know none of these classes are easy but which did you have the easiest/most enjoyable time with?

Biochem and then genetics. Human physiology is good too.

Take in this order for the 2015 MCAT:

1.bio-chem (mandatory)

2. Human physiology (super helpful)

3. Genetics (helpful)

4. Cell -bio ( could be helpful)

5. Molecular -bio (could be helpful )

6. Any other 300 level bio course (meh)

Biochem and human physiology will probably be the most high-yield. Genetics can be a topic on the test. I am 100% certain linkage analysis is a possible topic.
