Actually, the prerequisites for Podiatric Medical School is pretty much identical to the prerequisites for Allopathic / Osteopathic Medical School. As you indicated in your posting, all 8 Podiatry schools requires 1 year with lab (except for English) in General Biology, General Chemistry, General Physics, Organic Chemistry and English. Some schools may have other requirements. Most schools do recommend the candidate to take some additional science courses beyond the prerequisite science courses. These are the minimal requirements for MD/DO schools, as well.
