I'm doing a prelim surg year and want to be prepared when I start in July. I haven't even seen the inside of an OR in 1.5 yrs so I wanted to know if anyone can recommend a few good books or whatever to help get me back into surgery mode. Thx

Fiser Absite Review & Schwartz or Sabiston are good places to start

my guess is that you're headed into rads, so don't waste your time and money on the books advised above.

try the Washington Manual. and maybe a surgical atlas - to learn the anatomy and relate that to your future career, as I doubt you'll be doing many cases.
