Does anyone have any tips for preparing for the OITE and excelling in the different services that an ORTHO resident will be on during residency?
- How to prepare for the OITE on a regular basis?
- What books to read for each service?

Resources that I have:
- AAOS Comprehensive Review Books 2nd edition
- Handbook of fractures
- Hopenfeld
- Netter Orthopedic_Anatomy 2nd edition
- Orthobullets

I will use this thread as a way for me to motivate myself to study and keep track of my studying habits for the OITE as well, so I will update through out my intern year.

In line with this question are there any good audio resources for commutes? I'll be doing a decent amount of driving and would love to utilize that time for some review.

What's the difference between wires and cables when referring to fixing periprosthetic hip fracture? Are cables just larger in size than wires?

I tried googling a lot of these basic stuff but a lot of ads from different companies for wires come up, not really any definition for them.
