I would not suggest anyone study for longer than a year. You'll run out of practice unless you go spend a lot of money on every practice material you could find. Additionally, you'll run out of verbal material in a few months. I would just spend a lot more time reading for the time being.

I'm not a good test-taker. I prepped extensively for the SAT for 1-2 months and only received 750 V / 630 M (derp)/ 720 W, and had friends who did so much better.

So, I want to give myself more time to prep in advance so I can get a good score after the dust clears in 2015. Since I don't have all of my prereqs finished, is it wise to start verbal prep early, or would I run out of materials?

(Maybe it's a nervousness thing, but I hate having a bit test hanging over my head that I'm doing nothing about).

It IS a nervousness thing. Forget maybe
