I have a ton of loans to pay off. I will get lucky during residency since I will qualify for PAYE as well as PSLF due to my hospital being in an underserved area.
However, I was wondering, after I finish residency, is there an adequate market for these type of jobs in the CA/AZ area in particular? Do some of them allow you to work outside/moonlight?
I was wondering if anyone who has gone this route could shed some light. I'd love to do PAYE, but if I get out of the financial hardship category, I'd be liable for the full amount of the balance apparently.
