Anyone know of any dentists who specialized in public/global health?

Yep- I shadowed one!

That's awesome! Was it in a community health clinic? Did they get their MPH after dental school?

He is actually a dental school professor and I shadowed while he was supervising some student dentists...it was fun! He got his MPH right after dental school yes.

How long did he practice before becoming a professor?

He owns a practice on the side. He does everything!

I've noticed that most dental public health residencies require an mph...so i'm assuming you have to get an mph (2 years) and then apply to residencies (another year)?

It just seems like a public health residency is very unconventional these days
