Frieda says neither Duke or Kentucky will be accepting ERAS apps for 2005. However, I noticed Duke has a residency application form on their website. Any info on either of these two programs would be appreciated. Also, does KY really make you do a surgery intern year?

Kentucky does not use ERAS. If you contact them, they will send you out a paper app which is essentially a Xerox of an old ERAS paper application. And yes, they do require you to do a surgery prelim year there in Lexington. :scared:

i think this year even though all programs are mandated to go through the match (or the whole hospital loses acgme funding), eras is not mandatory as of yet. call each program and find out directly.
