Questions about NYC counseling Ph.D programs.

I am currently looking to apply for fall 09 admission to a NYC area counseling program. As I see it my main options are: NYU, Fordham, and Columbia. Does anyone have specific information on these programs as a student within them or a graduate of the program? I have heard mixed things about each program and was wondering if there are any serious negatives I am missing info on within each school? (The hidden data such as professional feuds within schools, bad structure to the program, amount of transferable graduate credits?)
