This seems to be a tradition. Everyone, hopefully, has submitted their rank lists. I'm sure the future classes will appreciate. Any reasoning behind choices would be awesome too.

  2. Vanderbilt
  3. Colorado
  4. Baylor
  5. Cincinnati
  6. WashU
  7. Stanford
  8. Kansas
  9. UVA

I have reviewed several of these schools in the impression thread stickied above.

The relevant data are contained in Table 15 on page 39.

About 50% of US allopathic seniors get matched to their first choice - this is all specialties; they don't split the data by specialty. 15% get their second choice. 10% get third. 6% get fourth. 14% get lower than fourth. 5.5% went unmatched.

Neurology is approximately in the middle of the road (maybe a little below the median) in terms of competitiveness. Below derm but above FM. So I would expect our results to be approximated by the general average; that is, I bet about half of neuro applicants get their first choice.
