Encouraged to see that this was a great year for re-applicants. It looks like about 18 attained PGY-1 positions in the Match, which is significantly more than the 8 of 2012.

It would be interesting to know out of how many. I was unable to parse this from the data.

Anyone know the total number of US Grads (or post seniors who did not graduate) who re-applied to ENT?

NRMP data show that there were 56 Independent Applicants (applicants who were not US Seniors) in the 2016 Match.

Of those 30 matched ENT (no info on the 2 SOAP spots), of those 18 were US Grads, 1 was an osteo, and 11 were FMGs.

Twenty-six Independent Applicants didn't match, that's a 53% success rate.

Couldn't parse the make-up of the twenty-six who didn't match to figure out the US Grad re-applicant success rate, but it looks like it was a good year to be a re-applicant.

Fifty-four US Seniors did not match in 2015, so obviously not all re-applied to ENT.
