A vast majority of the medical schools (both allo and osteo) say on their websites that they:

- Do not accept MCAT scores older than 3 years old
- Do not consider MCAT scores taken after September 2014 for the current admission cycle

Questions:
- For those that are "retaking" the MCAT for this cycle, how are you planning on convincing the Adcoms to accept those scores?
- Or are you just planning on re-taking just because you want to see how you will do?
- Or are you just trying to avoid taking the new test so you decided to take the old test for the next cycle

At this day- 12 Nov 2014- nobody's retaking the MCAT for this cycle. Some people may think they are, but they are mistaken. They're taking it for next cycle.

I took the old test for the next cycle. The old test is still really, really hard. If you want an easy MCAT, it does not exist. We don't know how much harder the new test will be, but we do know it will be much longer.

What vast majority say this?
