I'm taking summer chemistry 1 - its a 3 week course.
Just took my midterm two days ago. I was confident going into the exam and leaving the room I knew a few questions were tough but didn't expect the result I made back.
Got almost half the questions wrong on the material.
-------------
Moving forward, my final exam is one week from today - it will consist of a lot of organic chemistry concepts, transition metals and some chemical structure/bonding.
My question:
-What strategies are helpful to recover from a poor exam?
-Any tips that I can use to check my comprehension of the material? Sometimes I think I have a concept covered but on the exam i struggle with it.
-How can I be efficient when having to study a lot of content in a little amount of time? (This course is sped up so I can't study the way I've studied during the regular semester)
Any advice will be greatly appreciated - these are things I need to learn as I progress as a student.
