registering for an mcat while I wait for interviews

Sorry, I was not able to find a previous thread on this... I have already submitted secondaries and I am waiting to hear back from schools. In the meantime, can I register and hold a spot for myself for the January MCAT in case I do not hear back from anywhere by then? I think that if I don't get love anywhere it will because of my MCAT score. So I want to have the option to take this one again.

Will schools see that I am registered for a January date and void the application? Or can they not tell if I have not indicated it in my application.

This assumes your MCAT score was and could potentially be a factor in application?

The schools will only see if you indicate it on your AMCAS- since you have already submitted it, they cannot see a potential 2015 date for you.
