After a complete application has been sent, how long does it take to get a response back?

It can take up to a few weeks, because they can be very thorough. Just be patient, I wish you the best of luck!!

keeping in touch with your admission counselor is also best =) everyone at sgu admission office is nice and happy to assist students. by far one of the best admission staffs in terms of replying back (via e-mail, telephone)

Once your application has been completed, you will receive an email within
1-2 weeks informing you of the status of your application. If the Board of Admissions selects you for an interview, you will know within a month. Once the interview takes places it will be another 4-6 weeks for a decision to be made. Best of Luck!

contacting the interviewer and getting a reply back from him/her might take some time (it was in my case) but don't worry :)

also it's best to avoid applying during august (if you plan on entering jan of next year) or apply during jan (if you plan on entering august of that same year). because admission com will be busy assisting more the entering class starting in aug (or jan). but once the term begins for the entering class, the admission com will go back and assist the applicants :D

just to clarify-it's okay to apply during aug (or jan) just that it takes more time. so best way to apply earlier than these months (aug or jan)
