I'm in the process of applying for a research lab position, and I need to submit an updated copy of my resume. As of now, I haven't touched it since leaving my old marketing job and starting a post-bacc program. I have a very standard, corporate resume. Any advice or links on how I should properly update it to reflect what I am doing now? I'm a TA, tutor chem, shadow, and volunteer at the hospital once a week. How much of my "old life" should I leave on there?

I'm wondering this, too. Especially since I plan to continue practicing law until I get into med school - a pre-med's gotta eat.

I'd keep a lot of it on there. That prior experience is still valuable. It shows you had adult jobs with likely a lot of responsibility and maybe a lot of independence.

Agree with @wholeheartedly - just add the current experience to the former. Shows the progression :)
