It's strange that she said that. They had about 150 people interviewing on 25th. I can't imagine there is no spot left for all those people.YAY i just got my call too! I was the last spot for henderson said dr. park.

150 people were there for the interview in Henderson? However did they manage to interview all 150 on the same day? We had about 50-60 on 2/25, and I thought that was quite a lot already. It's strange that she said that. They had about 150 people interviewing on 25th. That's what Dr. Park told me! She said there was only one spot left, and a handful of South Jordan spots. I don't know why she would lie ?
Maybe she meant last spot for the day?? I believe they make phone calls not all in one day I assume..ah but I hope there are still some seats left for Henderson! There were def a lot of people on the 3/25 interview date. That's what Dr. Park told me! She said there was only one spot left, and a handful of South Jordan spots. I don't know why she would lie ?

Congrats to those who got in btw! Do they still call you if you don't get in or are on waitlist?
There was supposed to be another interview on April 1st, but they decided to cancel that one and have all remaining candidates come on the 25th. That is why there was a big crowd on that day. When I was there I was told that there were more interview sessions by other candidates but perhaps that was false information can anyone confirm?
I hope they still have spots!! It's kinda early for it to be full!! Anyone from Utah interview non utah residents from march 20th hear back??
I saw on pharmcas that the school conducts interviews until April. When I was there I was told that there were more interview sessions by other candidates but perhaps that was false information can anyone confirm?
Ugh well that just sucks.. But obviously the waitlisted people have the upper hand versus the ones who didn't get any response back (like me) :/ I guess we just have to find out..Out of the 4 schools that was by far the largest group I had ever interviewed with on March 25th. I emailed dr. Park & confirmed that is true all seats are taken at Henderson. she also said that the wait list has a potential to move fast as students choose which schools they want to attend.
Hey everyone..I was at the march 25 interview (henderson), and I didn't realize there was 150 people..I would've thought maybe like ~90ish at most…I got a call from Dr. Park the next day (wednesday march 26) that I got accepted. I picked the Henderson campus since I'm an instate applicant, so it's more ideal for me than the South Jordan campus... Dr. Park didn't mention to me that spots were almost all filled or anything but thats crazy that it's filled now but that doesn't make sense because most of the students who have been offered a seat in the henderson campus, have not accepted or declined (like me). So maybe their acceptances for the Henderson campus is all capped up for now, but that doesn't mean all Henderson seats are completely filled. So to everyone who is hoping to get a seat in henderson..DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! there are still many people who are undecided, especially me, don't let these SDN posts put you down. Some people will also drop their seat if they get accepted at other schools. This happens to a lot of students, and a lot of people get wait listed, and they will eventually get offered a seat. So don't lose hope, just be patient
All I know is that you do get a partial refund if you declined your seat before the start of the program. I really don't know how much of the $1,000 is refunded, but go to the website and check out the bursar's page on refunds to get an idea.I brought this up before but it got ignored:
Anyone know how much you are intitled to get reimbursed from your $1000 deposit? Anyone have an idea?
I've been checking past threads but haven't had much luck finding information about this.
I believe their website says that there is no advantage given to re-applicants.Does anybody know if re-applicants get an advantage ?
Ahh I see. It's nice how that all worked out then! It looks like I will be seeing you in fall then, because I ended up choosing the Henderson campus as well. All that's left is to find housing now, and then wait for class to start!Because I live in LV already My husband is in the Air Force so we're stationed here at least another two years; if I went to Utah he wouldn't be able to move with me. Plus, I cannot remember the last time I've seen rain here!
I'm non-resident and I heard back earlier last week. Don't let that discourage you though, stay strong.I hope they still have spots!! It's kinda early for it to be full!! Anyone from Utah interview non utah residents from march 20th hear back??

I hope so lol. It would only make sense as several people will need the money for living expenses immediately. For those who are doing the dual MBA/pharmd program - how will we be funded? Will our loan be dispersed sooner? Considering school would start the 1st week of July...Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks!!
I emailed about this and they told me they couldn't give me any info until after my P1 year. If anyone can answer this, I'd like to know too! Thanks!Hi all,
At the interview, i heard that students could do their summer rotations in other states if the school is able to find spaces. Is this true? If yes, how easy has it been for the school to find rotation spaces in other states and approximately what's the percentage of the students doing the rotations out of state? Does anybody know? Any information would be appreciated!
And since it seems like the Henderson campus is full as of last Thursday, if we accept a space in South Jordan and put the name on the waitlist for the Henderson campus, does the deposit transfer if a space opens up in Henderson and I get removed from the waitlist?
Hey folks! Congratulations to all the students who were accepted! Acceptance to medical school is a big friggin deal so high fives to you guys =)
For those who are waitlisted to Henderson, were you told what position you held on the list? I interviewed in Henderson 3/25 but haven't heard whether I'm accepted or not. Roseman was the only school I applied to and I'm trying to gauge my chances of being accepted and studying at Henderson.
Initially I had no preference between the two campuses but when I interviewed there were a bunch of frat members hanging out in the student common area chatting up the candidates. They were so friendly that I've been kinda swayed to prefer NV.
Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
I actually got an email from Dr. Park just now stating that I am being placed on their waitlist (I interviewed at Henderson on 3/25). In the email I had to pick which choice to be on the waitlist for (either Henderson/S.Jordan ONLY or both), sign and return their attached "Waitlist Form" via fax or scanned and email back. It didn't tell me what number I am on the waitlist or where I stand on the waitlist..I guess maybe they will inform me later after they receive my form..but I kinda have a feeling a lot of other people are already on the waitlist for Henderson and some are still being placed at the S.Jordan campus.. so I don't really know what my chances are at this point since I did not get an offer for S.Jordan :/Those of you who say u are wait listed did u get an email from dr park stating that and which number?? Or u called?
Got the same email,,,, I only want Henderson,I actually got an email from Dr. Park just now stating that I am being placed on their waitlist (I interviewed at Henderson on 3/25). even if you are on the waitlist, do you guys know if we will still get a final decision by May 15th?

Just wait a few more days and email her....I interviewed on March 6th and haven't heard back - should I be worried that my application is being denied? I haven't heard anything about being on the wait-list either - I emailed her around March 14th and she said that my application was still in competitive standing and just be patient, but seeing that all the seats are already taken I'm getting worried :-/
Did you receive a confirmation after you sent them the form? I scanned/emailed mine yesterday but no response..Got the email.... For wait list keeping fingers crossed!
I wouldn't worry . They probably send these emails out on daily basis, you will get one sooner or later.I interviewed on March 6th and haven't heard back - should I be worried that my application is being denied? I would go ahead and switch to pharmacy volunteering. You have already completed 100 hours of patient interaction type of volunteering so it would be good to start in a different setting. This also gives you more to talk about once you go for school interviews - you can tell them your experience about both positions and schools like to see that you were involved in different areas.Hey everyone I have commented on this thread before, but I have another question.
As I said previously, I am planning on applying to this school this year.
I was just wondering,
Right now I am volunteering at UCLA hospital doing patient escort which means I basically transport patience from one room to another.
I have received 100 hours this week and now I asked to be switched to do pharmacy volunteering. They said I could and then they told me that for pharmacy volunteering I would be required to do lots and lots of filing. My question is if I decide to switch from patient escort to pharmacy volunteering will that make any difference in my application when I apply? I am not really getting hands on with pharmacy because i am just filing paperwork, so will that look good to do or will it not be any different than volunteering and doing patient escort?

The financial aid office is SO NICE and helpful! I went and spoke with them yesterday, spent over an hour reviewing all available options, and now feel much more prepared. Dorothy Levy, the main contact there, was the person with whom I spoke, and she said she was packaging aid info yesterday and we should receive emails from her explaining the aid package for which each of us qualify. So if you haven't received that yet, it's coming soon and includes a lot of loan info including the amounts you can take out, and if you've still got questions then definitely give her a call! She is also the work/study coordinator and said there are some positions available and they pay quite well.Congrats for everyone that was accepted. As for people that are still waiting, don't give up.
For people that are planning to attend Roseman, if you don't mind me asking, I was wondering if you could give me some information on loans and such? Because with federal loans, I don't think it even enough to cover the tuition. So how are you paying for living expenses and such if you don't have any cash in hand? I was looking at private loans but still not sure :-( so if you know, please help me out.
Thanks guys,
