I was wondering if someone could shed some light into the following...
1) What range of work RVUs per year would a primarily interventional spine physician working with a surgery group in an academic setting expect to generate?
2) What would be considered a reasonable $ amount per work RVU for such a physician? I know this must depend on payor mix, but would $34 (curent Medicare conversion factor) be considered too low? What would be the best way to determine a value to negotiate with a potential employer?
