I guess I was confused between prelim years and transitional years? Is there a way to display the PGY-2 matches they're going into? Sorry for the confusion.

I know it's a bit of an offshoot, but could someone please expand on the difference between prelim and transitional? I was told that one(?) of these is something that residents for fields such as surgery try to avoid like the plague and are a kind of match limbo? Any clarification would be great :)

Other than that, definitely some well-respected institutions and fields up there from my lowly 3rd year undergraduate perspective :D
