I need help with my school list... some things about my stats:
- First MCAT: 29 (10, 9, 10); Second MCAT 31 (10, 11, 10)
- First generation college student (should I say that I am disadvantaged? I've heard mixed reviews on this.)
- Paid Nanny - 5 years (3800 hours) during college
- Worked on the "Vote No Campaign" door-knocking/phone-banking etc. for the Minnesota proposed marriage bam (40 hours)
- Children's Hospital Volunteer (patient interaction) 85 hours
- Research - 450 hours which led to...
- Publication in the Journal of Bacteriology
- Research for Honors Thesis (summa cum laude) - 300 hours + writing?
- Poster Presentation at symposium for undergrad thesis (not actually sure how to state this in my application, should I use a new category or put it under my thesis?)
- Girls on the Run Coach (volunteer): biweekly lessons on leading a healthy life for elementary aged girls plus coaching running and participating in the celebratory 5k - 40 hours
- VIDA clinical volunteer - clinical volunteer in Costa Rica and Nicaragua - 48 hours clinical volunteer, 8 hours orientation + I was a volunteer coordinator so did 20+ hours planning the trip/leadership.
- Shadowing - 30 hours radiology department at an urban hospital + 4 hours hand surgeon.
- 3 unique scholarships, Dean's list every semester
